Adopt a Sculpture
Become an active part of the sculpture garden. Inspired by "Adopt-a-Highway" programs, individuals or groups can adopt a sculpture for a period of one year. What does it mean to adopt a sculpture?
Each sculpture will have a small area to plant flowers or shrubs. You or your group will take charge of that planting and watering immediately surrounding the sculpture.
If you don't know what to plant, don't worry. We will have meetings and guidelines as to a range of suggested plants for the area, climate, and care.
We will also provide workshops on what to look for in the care of the sculpture.
Adopt a Bench
"Adopt a bench" is not a new concept. Central Park in New York City has the very same program. We are encouraging people to adopt a bench for $550.00 that covers the cost of the bench and its placement on the grounds.
You will be able to dedicate the bench to a loved one or just a saying you like with a plaque that will be on the back of each bench with the sponsor's name.
