Saturday, April 28, 2012, Radioactive Badgers invaded the Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden at Campbell Park , as part of the seventh annual celebration of Art in the Park. All of the Badgers were created by Lampasas Middle School 6th Grade Art students, instructed by Michael Kuehne. They were constructed out of paper mache and painted a brilliant neon green. The Garden had Badgers doing every conceivable thing! Mr Kuehne and his students found their inspiration in a 1980 piece by artist Sandy Skoglund called "Radioactive Cats". You can find out more about the work and it's artist at www.sandyskoglund.com.
